Our first passenger here makes us think that France isn’t that far away. We're not sure, but there might be an escape alert at the Louvre. And it’s that simply by seeing it, two things can come to mind very clearly. First, we understand why DaVinci painted her. Look at her, she’s beautiful. And second, she sure likes to smile, and she hasn’t stopped doing it after all these years.
Also, she looks pretty laid back. Who knows, it might not be her first trip away from home. Let's just hope she returns home safely. It’d be a great loss if she didn't.
Strict Meal Hours
Being a good parent is about many things, and feeding your children on time is one of them. Nothing like seeing a good father worry about his little ones. After all, they need their food to grow big and strong. Meal schedules are a serious thing for babies, and how to refuse that little face... Besides, more than one girl will certainly notice him. Nothing more attractive than a man who can take care of his kitten.
He shows some very good father material. So girls, when a boy feeds his kitten on the train, don’t hesitate to ask for his number. He’ll definitely be a good father.
Any Seat Is Good
When kids are behaving badly in public places, and their parents are nowhere to be found, we sometimes feel the need to educate them ourselves. That's why we can't blame this man for doing what he did. We’re sure the little boy knew that what he was doing was wrong. So as a good citizen, the man gave him what he deserved. Nothing like seeing justice being served in front of us.
Ultimately, after seeing the boy's face, it’s certain that he learned his lesson from him. We hope he doesn't take another stranger sitting on top of him so he can learn to be more polite.
Talk About Inspiration
It’s amazing how artists seem to find inspiration everywhere, even in the mundane. You wouldn’t think that the subway would be the place for fine art, but for this gentleman, it’s clearly his source. In just the span of his ride, he’s going to create a masterpiece on that sheet of paper. And what makes this all the more wonderful is that you know he’s going to give the model his drawing once he’s finished.
From now on, we’re going to be more attentive to the other passengers. You never know when they’ll be drawing you. Admit it, you also want a subway sketch. We mean, who wouldn’t?
Well, Hello There, Sir
We're not sure where this man is heading to. He could be going to an important meeting, to the cinema, or just to get a coffee with some friends. Wherever he’s going, he's going in style – and it’s one that’ll definitely make you take a second glance. This man, wearing a long coat and a tophat on the subway, looks like he accidentally travelled forward in time from the past.
Whether he really is a time traveller, or just an actor who's about to appear in a play (which is the more likely option), he's definitely pulling this outfit off.
There's Nothing Weird About This at All
It's funny - there’s a rather peculiar contradiction in our next post. We don’t know what can be weirder than everything that’s happening. On the one hand, we’ve got this guy who apparently took his pet peacock for a little walk. That's pretty impressive, right? Well, it seems like no one is even looking at it. Although if we’re honest, does this really surprise us? Especially with how important technology seems to be for us nowadays.
We live in an era where we’ve seen it all thanks to the internet. Why should they turn around if there are already images of peacocks on the internet?
Riding in Style
Before talking about the yellow elephant in the room, we should take a moment to appreciate the great style of this woman. Just watch her. She’s living her best life. Good for her! Now, to the centerpiece of our attention – the curious and very “her style” piece – her necklace. It's not just how fun and eye-catching it is, but the details and work that goes into it. Did she do it herself?
How many dolls do you think are in that necklace? Yes, it may be too much for some, but we can't deny that it looks amazing, so much better than bland pearls.
Hey There Little Buddy
Today, in the "Best Pet Owners Ever" segment, we’ve got this man and this very fashionable rabbit with him. We haven't decided yet if this segment should be “The Most Fashionable Pet,” but what we’re sure of is that this rabbit can easily win. Just by looking at it, we can perceive that vibe and that energy that identifies people with a true style. Come on, we can't even wear those glasses ourselves without looking ridiculous.
And that scarf? Wow, it's definitely a very stylish animal. More than many of us, including his servant, actually are. Let's just hope he's having half as good a time as he looks.
A Fur Scarf
We can’t help but love the combination of pets and fashion, and here we have a very good integration of both. This girl shouldn’t go out without her cat in winter, especially if it also serves as a way to warm up. And apparently, we shouldn’t even worry about what is going wrong. It looks very comfortable watching the screen of her owner. Let's just hope it doesn't have to go to the bathroom, which would be a problem...
But putting possible accidents aside, it’s a great idea. Although we highly doubt that all cats have that facility to stay still... Maybe we should reconsider the cat scarf.
He-he-hello Santa…
At Christmas time, it’s not uncommon to see the occasional Santa on the street. It can be on a corner, walking on the street, in the shopping center, or even in the subway, like in this case. Although this doesn’t seem to be a very conventional Santa, does it? We’re not sure why, but it gives us that impression. Maybe it's the necklace? It's a little showier than what Santa normally wears.
We'd better be good this year. Who knows what Santa can do if we're on his list of bad kids? To be sure we don't have problems, we better leave supplements and a protein shake near the tree this year.
The More Colors, the Better
We’ve always been told that combining many colors and textures isn’t good when it comes to dressing. However, when you like something, just use it, and if that includes using every color, texture, and garment in your closet, then indulge yourself. Just look at this man. He doesn't seem to be having a hard time. In fact, he seems to be living his best life. So go, put on whatever you want and go out there for the world to see your colors.
Of course, we’re not responsible for the heat that you may experience with all those clothes on. But who cares about the heat if you look half as good as you feel, right?
Speed Games
There are many situations in which we’d like to escape reality for a while, and long train rides are the perfect time to do that. This passenger, for example, is doing a great job at escaping reality. Let's just hope he's not playing some fighting game, which could end very badly, especially on the subway. One of the questions that we can't avoid asking is, will he know when he needs to stop and get out?

Seasonal Camo
It’s not uncommon to see this camouflage tactic in military movies. It’s even a method used by many characters in many media. And this must be for something, right? Camouflaging yourself with your surroundings is something very important and advantageous. But something more important is that our camouflage really blends into the environment we’re in. After all, that's the whole idea. This guy here only seemed to understand the green plant part.
Well, maybe it's the holiday season, and that's all he can get. Or he’s trying to hide in plain sight. Be that as it may, we don't think he’s going too unnoticed.
Keep Your Fruit on a Leash
Well, at the beginning of this article we warned you that, in the subway, you could basically see anything. This next passenger really supports that statement. When we see this image, we can't help but ask ourselves some questions, and for obvious reasons the first one is "Why?". Maybe there’s a very funny story with a very good explanation behind it all. But for now, let's just cherish the moment.
We’re not very sure what "breed" of pineapple this is, but it’s quite calm. It doesn’t move much and we don’t think it has “accidents.” It may not be such a bad idea to take one for a walk every now and then.
Communication Is Key
When you’re an animal owner, communication is the most important thing to maintain a good relationship. And there’s nothing like catching up with your pet, right? After all, they’re usually home alone most of the day. If you’re the owner of a cat with whom you want better communication and you usually take long train trips then the following series of books is highly recommended. And there aren’t only these topics, but we can find many more.
This advice also applies to relationships with humans, although for those, there are many more book options that we decided to ignore. Better stick with the cats, for now. It seems like a safer bet.
“Oh! Hey There!”
We’re not experts in canine language. Maybe we should look for books on how to talk to your dog, but for now, we’re going to assume that this is what this little one is saying. And it’s that just by seeing its hairy and precious face, we can know that it's happy to see us, even if it doesn’t know us. It’s always good to see an owner who cares about showing the world to their little one.
And we shouldn’t worry, either. At first glance, it may seem that the dog is in an uncomfortable position, but that backpack is special for it. We love an owner who cares about the needs of his four-legged buddy.
He's Just Taking A Power Nap
Different people take advantage of long train rides in different ways. You can see people working, doing homework, reading - or even taking naps. And at first glance, that's exactly what this furry friend is doing. We’re not very sure since foxes are a bit unexplored terrain as far as subway animals are concerned. But if one thing is certain, it’s that probably this isn’t the last we’ll see of them on this list.
Whatever it’s doing, we must remember that it’s an animal that belongs to nature. We shouldn’t have pets just because they’re "cute." Not all animals can withstand the same situations, though. Always be sure to think of the animal first.
Plastic Prison
Well, we don't know if the term “prison” is the most appropriate here, but it’s a good title, right? Anyway, just as we finished mentioning, we haven't seen the end of the strange animals on this list. Well, maybe “strange” isn’t the most appropriate word either. But it’s not every day we see someone with a duck in the subway... Although now that we’ve seen it, we can hardly resist the urge to find one.
We wonder what this feathered friend is thinking in his little home. Surely he’s wondering why this stranger is taking a picture of him in his privacy. But hey, it may also be that he’s thinking about bread. Who knows?
Watch Out for Grandma
We’re in a very crazy world. It’s enough to see that there’s a list of strange things in the subway to know it. This grandmother seems to be very familiar with the idea that we’re in a crazy and dangerous world. But will this stop her from riding the subway home? Of course not! It’s more than certain that just by seeing her, anyone will think twice before messing with her. She may be old, but you don't get old by being naïve.
We must admire the commitment that she must have, that isn’t something very easy to use, less for a woman her age. But like we said earlier, does that stop her? Of course not! Good for you, granny!
Underground Joyride
Dogs seem to be very popular pets to take with you on the subway. But like any concerned owner, the owner of our next canine friend surely wanted to keep the little one entertained during their walk. And boy, did he come up with a perfect way to do it. We don’t know if the owner brought that rocking horse, or if it was just a happy coincidence for the dog, but we do know that he’s definitely having a good time.
Perhaps it’s a bit risky to take the dog that way. But this little friend seems to be having a good time. Maybe it's time to reconsider buying our dog a rocking horse.
Well Isn't That Something
We can often find people in the street, or in the subway, dressed in all kinds of different styles. We mean, we’ve already seen it on this list before and everything. But man, are there those who dress to impress. We're not really sure if there was an event or if this is some kind of uniform, but everyone's eyes were on these folks on the subway, that's for sure.
What we truly love about this photo, is how confidently these men are wearing their dinosaur outfits, like it's a super casual thing to do.
Expanding Your Horizons
This next passenger wasn't photographed on the subway, but on an ordinary bus ride. This man is certainly helping to expand the horizons of his little green friend, and his lizard seems fascinated by the new views. Let's just hope that after this he continues to show him new places, as he seems to love it. Just look at that cute, little green face. It seems so curious to view the outside!
Let's be honest, if we had a pet lizard that behaved as well as the one in the photo, wouldn't we take him for a walk? The answer is an obvious yes, but we'd probably try to avoid scaring people on the bus with it.
This Pup Is Going Places
Many of us have been in this situation. Listening to melancholic music while looking out the window on a rainy evening… Well, the actual rain is optional, but you get our point. And it seems that our furry little friend here is doing just that. It's hard to tell if it's on its way home, running away from home, or, more likely, just doesn't have a clue what's going on.
We just hope both the dog and his owner are okay. We can't even imagine what it must be like losing your dog, or suddenly realizing you forgot your dog on a train.
Wear the Skirt like a Man
There really don't seem to be any limits to what fans would do when it comes to supporting their favorite team. We don't really know what the sport in question is here, but we do know that it has a very committed fan base. Well, that and a great uniform or mascot. Whatever it is, it has great flair. And we must give credit to these fans, too. Not everyone knows how to wear that hairstyle so well.
Can you imagine a stadium full of middle-aged men dressed up like this? Because now is everything we can imagine. We need to know what team this is, ASAP.
Retro Is Always in Fashion
If we didn't have people around wearing clothes from the current era, we could easily think that this is a photo from a few decades ago. There's no doubt these two have really great retro style - everything is on point, from their hair to the immense music player they carry. If they went to a retro costume contest, we hope they've won it. We mean, come on, they look like a band from the '80s.
The only question we’d have for them would be where they got those cool jackets. Without a doubt, we’d use it with anything. It’s an eternal style.
Dark Lord of Wagon 6
Why use a horse or a dragon for transportation, when you can just ride the subway? That's apparently, what this gentleman was thinking. It’s not very often that we get to see medieval creatures in the wagons. Although, if this is the case, we should be careful. We don’t mind meeting a fairy or unicorn, but if we come across characters like this one, it’s better to avoid them altogether.
In all seriousness, this person is probably headed to a convention of some sort, and they're probably pretty bummed out about having to take the train there!
A True Gentleman
Our next passenger is a bit confusing. We’re not sure if he’s a gentleman, a general, or just a cosplayer. What we’re sure of is that we don't want to mess with him. Have you seen that sword? It may be false, but it’s better not to risk it. Although we can tell that his clothes are pretty cool. His boots and coat are definitely something we’d have in our closet.
Well, on the outside he may look like just a grandfather who has fallen asleep on the subway, but on the inside, he can be a great warrior. So we better think about it before we mess with him.
The King of the Asphalt Jungle
Wow, that's a seriously realistic, and pretty scary mask this person is wearing. Can you imagine what a scare it must be, to see this guy in the middle of the night somewhere? This lion here is standin in the subway, just waiting for a seat to open up, so he can sit down after a long day of working in the city. He's probably wondering why he'd left the jungle in the first place.
Although he may also be a disguised person going to participate in a play, it’s more fun to imagine that he’s a real lion. Especially since his mask is so darn realistic looking.
He's off to a Crusade
Wow, this really is out of the ordinary. Let's face it, a lot of the things we’ve seen so far can be seen on a normal day on the New York subway, but this really does get out of the ordinary a bit. We can see intrepid old men and people disguised as animals, but it’s rare to see a real medieval knight sitting in front of us. It seems that what they say is true, the train is faster than the horse.
This man is truly prepared for battle. He brought his shield and everything. Although it must be uncomfortable to always be in that armor, let’s hope he doesn't get dehydrated from being there all day.
A Strong Grip
The biggest problem we sometimes have in the subway or on the bus (aside from other people, of course), is that we can never seem to get a seat. When this happens, we have no choice but to use the bars and handles that hang from the ceiling. Apparently, this man wanted to use more than one at a time, and he succeeded. It’d be admirable if he wasn’t so disruptive. And the funniest part (or strangest, perhaps?) are the girls next to him
After seeing this, we’ll never see the bars inside the subway in the same way. And we'll start to hold on to the top, for obvious reasons. Be strong girls, maybe he’ll get down soon.
It's A Bird, It's A Plane ... No, It's Definitely A Bird
People seem to be getting more and more brazen with the animals they bring with them to the subway. Let's be honest, yes, this is a majestic and beautiful bird, but we’re not getting in the same car with it. We mean, that bird can probably do some really damage, if it decides to suddenly attack us out of nowehere. Well, maybe we’re exaggerating a bit, but you understand what we mean.
But seriously, this bird must be very well trained not to go crazy and fly away in an environment like the subway. Our congratulations to his owner - we just hope he has all his fingers.
It's Impolite to Stare
Well, it's official, we’re about to name the subway as the best method of transportation. Not because we can see everything from medieval knights to wild birds, but because even spirits seem to prefer it. It seems that once we overcome the overwhelming number of people, the smell, and perhaps the poor hygiene, the subway isn’t actually that bad, is it? At least we get to our destination relatively quickly.
If you don't believe us, ask our friend about the spirit here. Although it may not be your favorite means of transportation, at that size, it shouldn’t be easy to get into the car. But hey, it's the price you’ve to pay sometimes.
Train Legacy
Well, our next passenger is definitely having a bad day. That is, we assume, since he’s on the subway and not on the ultra-fast motorcycle he probably owns. He also doesn't seem to be very happy, but that might be because everyone on the subway is steering clear of him, for obvious reasons. Maybe next time, he'll reconsider his outfit before going in public dressed as a character from a video game.
On the other hand, does it look amazing, or what? Very decked out, like he’s ready to go save the world, or DJ at a rave.
Need More Horsepower
First of all, we know that horsepower isn’t the power measure that’s used in these cases. But we couldn't resist the pub, since, you know - there’s a horse on the subway. It seems that you really can't avoid seeing weird stuff on public transportation, even livestock. All that's missing are a few cows and pig, and we can complete our collection of weird animals we've seen on the subway.
But seriously, can you imagine waking up from your subway nap and seeing a horse in front of you? That would be a story to tell – if we survive the cardiac arrest.
This Is What Cannibalism Looks Like
Thanksgiving is a celebration for everyone, even for the turkeys that survive. And if the turkey in question is a person in disguise, all the more reason. Everyone is entitled to their seat at the table and their slice of turkey. Although this turkey person looks like he couldn't wait to get home. So he did what anyone would do. He began to eat his Thanksgiving dinner. However, it’d have been better if she had changed her costume earlier.
But hey, to each one what seems best. And if we can tell the story of how we saw a cannibal turkey in the subway, all the better.
State of the Art Engineering
Some people's life hacks can really be surprising. We mean, just look at this boy. Who, in their right mind, would have thought of doing something like this? We don't know if it's the work of a dangerously resourceful child or a dangerously negligent parent. The only certain thing is that that’s dangerous. Though, it does looks pretty cool, if it weren't for the fact that we can easily end up on the ground we’d give it a try.
And just look at the boy, he looks so comfortable and relaxed up there. Or maybe he’s paralyzed with fear, which wouldn’t be too weird.
Complete Protection
It’s not news that with the recent pandemic, many people have taken somewhat radical measures to protect themselves. And we don’t blame them. COVID isn’t playing games. But this next passenger did know how to fully protect herself. Well, this isn’t such a bad method, is it? At least she has her mouth and nose covered, that's the important thing. We just hope she can see and doesn't end up walking down the tracks by accident.
Although those masks do serve quite well as a sleep mask, in case we fall asleep on a train or bus, it's probably not a good idea.
The Stuff of Nightmares
There are times when nightmares seem to come to life. For many, it’s being late for an important meeting, spilling coffee on yourself, forgetting to wear a clean shirt… Whatever it is, sometimes it happens hopelessly. Then there are our nightmares – a.k.a., these two subway riders. We really hope this photo was taken on Halloween. Because if it wasn't, we’d definitely be moving soon - preferably somewhere without ghoulish rabbits.
A simple word to define this situation: No. It doesn’t matter how late we’re arriving or how important it is. If we see these two in the same car, in the same station, in the same city? ... No.
Any Place Is Good For a Gathering with Friends
When it comes to meeting friends, there’s always something preventing everyone from attending. Times, places, or whatever, there’s always something. But these friends didn't let that stop them. Sure, your gathering looks a bit more formal than just a gathering of friends, but the idea is the same. And is that if everyone is already there, why wait to get to the office? They could well use the time in the best way, right?
Though judging by how prepared they looked, it doesn't seem like it was a coincidence to be there. Well, be that as it may, we hope the meeting worked out for them.
Safety First
We should give this passenger extra points for creativity. She definitely used to be an outstanding student in arts and crafts class. We can't possibly explain the extreme urge we’ve to take her hat and squeeze it. And don’t lie; we know that we’re not the only ones, okay? But she’s a lady, and that isn’t done to ladies. But if some questions arise when thinking more deeply about how that hat works.
First of all, you think it can withstand a blizzard? Or a heavy rain? We hope that, for the good of the lady, it can. If not, she can always give it to us; we’ll surely find a good use for it.
